Mineral scale, rust and oils build up in most swimming pool filters and are not completely removed by backwashing, causing filtration quality to deteriorate. Keep two complete sets of pool filter cartridges on hand to eliminate down-time and clean when time permits. Replacement filter cartridges are available in many sizes.
